Charles "Frank" Allison

Graveside services for Frank Allison, 81, currently of Artesia, NM will be held at 10:00 AM, Wed., July 25, 2019 in the Inez Cemetery with Mickey Burkett officiating.

Charles Franklin Allison, known to most of his family and friends as Frank, was born Dec. 21, 1937 in Portales.  He was one of a set of triplets born to Gladys Mildred (Breshears) and Carl Wright Allison, and died on July 25, 2019 in Artesia, NM where he had been living.  Frank was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.  He worked as an over the road trucker for 44 years.  During that time he drove 25 years for the Peanut Mill, as well for J. D. Ray Trucking and White Transport of Lubbock, TX.  During his career, he had driven from coast to coast from the Pacific to the Atlantic as well as from Mexico to Canada.

He is survived by several close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Fred Allison and his sister, Frona Sherburne.
