Amy Renee (Gibbs) Henderson

A family memorial service for Amy Henderson, 51, of Portales will be announced at a later time.

Amy Renee Henderson was born Nov. 13,  1969 in Morton, TX to the home of Virginia Gayle (Gant) and Gary Gene Gibbs, and died early on the morning of May 4, 2021 at her home in Portales.  Amy grew up in Portales, and was a 1988 graduate of Portales High School.  Following graduation she attended ENMU for a short time.  For over 13 years she had been employed at the 18th Street Allsup's Convenience Store, where she had made countless friends through the years.  Amy was a devoted mother, and grandmother, and loved to spend time with her family.  Amy was known for her bright smile, and will certainly be missed by her family and many friends and acquaintances.

She is survived by two sons, Clarence Lee Littlefield of Portales and Ben Caylor of Granbury, TX; a daughter and son-in-law, Candice Rae Fuller and Ryan Nix of Keene, TX; five grandchildren, Xavior and Shoshanna Littlefield, and Kylie, Aryzona and Henry Nix; her father, Gary Gene Gibbs and his wife of Clovis; and three brothers, Gary Gene Gibbs II and wife, Haley of Burleson, TX, Randall Gibbs and wife, Allicia of Hutchinson, KS and Juston Gibbs and wife, Brittany of Tucumcari, NM; and her significant other, Danny Neece of Portales.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Gayle Gibbs who died Oct. 11, 2007.
