Andrea Sue (Lindsey) Coleman

Funeral Services for Andrea Coleman will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with Dr. David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Portales Cemetery with Ryan Coleman, David Taylor, Caleb Taylor, Dennis Taylor, Michael Taylor, and Braden Fraze serving as pallbearers.

Andrea Coleman was born September 22, 1952, in Hobbs, New Mexico to the home of James and Annette Lindsey, and died May 2, 2022, in Clovis, NM.

Andrea truly enjoyed life, was adventurous and loved trying new things. She loved to travel and covered the entire west coast, most of the southwest, select states on the east coast, Canada, and one of her favorites was Hawaii. She loved the trips on the open road and the scenery it provided. Speaking of the open road, before she needed car seats, she drove a sporty little Toyota Supra that hugged the road, which she later traded for a Cadillac that floated upon it. She was always faithful to the Lord she never missed a Sunday in worship and participated in many Precept classes and other Bible studies.

Andrea grew up in the Dallas metroplex where she worked as an executive assistant for Blue Cross Blue Shield. She left her position there before the birth of her daughter and dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker. She was a homeroom mom, sewed every Halloween costume, baked many birthday cakes, and made sure the kids stayed busy during the summer with art classes, swimming, sports, dance, and many trips to Six Flags and the Water Park. After her kids were grown, she returned to the workplace.

Andrea is survived by her daughter Laci Taylor and husband David of White Rock, New Mexico; and her son Ryan Coleman and wife Meghan of McKinney, Texas; Four grandchildren Caleb and Kaitlyn Taylor and Evan and Dylan Coleman and a sister, Janet Lindsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Annette Lindsey and her sister, Debra Beck.
