Bianca Marie Renteria

The Mass of the Resurrection for Bianca Renteria, 24, formerly of Portales, will be celebrated by Fr. Francisco Carbajal at 10:00 AM, Fri, July 17, 2020 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Portales.  Burial will follow in the Portales Cemetery with Francisco Lopez, Adrian Alvarez, Andres Carbajal, Alex Lopez, Isaiah Gomez and Rashad Frazier-Harris.

Bianca Marie Renteria was born Nov. 11, 1995 in Clovis, NM to the home of Michelle Renteria.  Bianca grew up in Portales and graduated from Dora High School in 2015.  She went on to study Zoology at Eastern New Mexico University for two years before moving to Las Vegas, NV.  While living there she had several different jobs, mostly in the hospitality industry.  Most of that time she worked as a server in casino restaurants.  She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.

She is survived by her mother, Michelle Renteria; a brother, Angel Renteria; two sisters, Iesha and Aracelia Renteria; her grandmother, maria Lopez; an uncle Felipe (Ofelia) Alvarez; four aunts, Linda (Francisco Lopez) Alvarez, Hilda (Enrique) Vargas, Eva Vallejo and Amy Vallejo; and numerous cousins and other family members, all of Portales.
