Daniel Eminger

Graveside services for Daniel Eminger, 67, of Kingston, OK, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sat., Nov. 22, 2025 in the Portales Cemetery with Mike Eminger officiating.  Members of his family will serve as pallbearers.

Albert Daniel Paul Eminger, known mostly as Danny to family and friends, was born Oct. 21, 1958 in Portales to the home of Leoma Eulalee (Hayden) and Stanley Eugene Eminger and died Nov. 18, 2025 at the home of his son and daughter-in-law in Azle, TX.  Danny’s early life was spent in Portales.  As a teen, he began working with his father driving trucks to deliver cotton bales.

On Dec. 26, 1974 in Farwell, TX he was married to Betty Gail Ireland.  Their home was blessed with the birth of one son, Christopher Daniel. Soon after they married, they moved to Fort Worth where he did a number of jobs over the years working as a parts manager for Pettibone and helped with parts and assembly of drilling rigs with Watson Drilling.  He had an entrepreneurial spirit, and for a period of time he owned and operated BeepBeep Delivery.  In 1997, he began working for Pegasus Logistics Trucking Co. where he held the position of Logistics Manager, retiring in 2019 after 22 years with the company. 

Danny enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling. Spending time with his family was very important to him.  He was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. Go Pack Go!

He is survived by Betty, his wife of nearly 51 years of marriage of their home; his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Andrea of Azle, TX; his four grandchildren, Gabe, Austin, Chase and Kelsey Eminger; four brothers, Glenn Eminger and wife, Sandy of Farmersville, TX, Tim Eminger and wife Bobbie of Kingston, OK, Ben Eminger and wife, Serena of Tishomingo, OK and David Eminger and wife, Agnes of Oakland, OK; two sisters, Donna Graham of Durant, OK and Renee Rhodes of ?.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents "Bootsie" and Stanley, two brothers Michael John Eminger and Marvin Ray Eminger and two brothers-in-law, Stanley Graham and Bobby Rhodes.
