Debbie Ann (Gonzales) Brown

Debbie Ann Brown was born Nov. 3, 1961, in Denver, CO, and passed from this life on Feb. 27, 2026 at her home east of Portales.  No local services have been planned.

Ms Brown lived the majority of her life in the Denver area, where she was employed at various jobs as a sales clerk or cashier.  She moved to Portales with her daughter and son-in-law in 2025.  She always enjoyed going out to eat with her family.  While living in Denver she was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where she was active in several church activities.  Since coming to Portales she has enjoyed attending Grace Fellowship Baptist Church.  For relaxation and entertainment Debbie enjoyed listening to music and watching movies.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Selena and Juan Maes of Portales; ten grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren and another expected soon; a brother and sister-in-law, Alex and Channa Vasquez of Denver; and four sisters, Lenora Gonzales of Denver, Ruby and Bill Betz of Lakewood, CO, Shirley Chavez of Howard, CO and Raquel Vasquez of Denver.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Dennis Lozoya.
