Debra Mae Moore was born Dec. 27, 1958 in Rush City, MN to the home of Helen Margaret (Thompson) and Richard Allan Wilcox and passed from this life on July 3, 2026 in Portales.  Debbie lived in several places as a younger woman, but eventually came to Elida where she made her home for the rest of her life.  The first few years she was a ranch wife.  On Dec. 25, 2008 she was married to Joel Moore.

Debbie began working at the local Allsup’s store in Elida in the early 2000’s and eventually became the manager.  She retired in 2023 due to her health.  Debbie had a beautiful singing voice and accompanied herself on the mandolin or her guitar.  She loved to go to auctions with her friends, and enjoyed going hunting and fishing with her husband.  She was a faithful member of the Elida Methodist Church.

She is survived by Joel, her husband of more than 17 years; two sons, Blaine and wife, Shannon Bumguardner and Troy and Haley Bumguardner and a daughter, Megan and Sam Newton; six grandchildren, Branson and Lucille Bumguardner, Nash Bumguardner, and Lori, Lloyd and Luke Newton; two brothers, Mike and Rick Wilcox and two sisters, Vickie Wilcox and Ellen Wilcox.  She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
