Dennis Horace Webb

Graveside services for Dennis Webb, 71, of Portales, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wed., Dec. 30, 2020 in the Portales Cemetery with Dick Hood officiating.  Derry Webb, Brittani Webb, Devan Webb, Danny Webb, R. C. Allen and Tommy Underwood will serve as pallbearers.  All of Dennis's many friends will be honorary pallbearers.  The family respectfully requests that everyone wear a mask to the service.

Dennis Horace Webb was born Dec. 25, 1949 in Portales, to the home of Margaret Louise (Reagan) and Delbert Horace Webb, and died Dec. 25, 2020 in Rio Rancho, NM.  Dennis was a 1967 graduate of Portales High School.  On June 15, 1990 in Portales, he was married to Beverly Ann Tunnell.  Dennis had worked at the Poynor's Store and at Swift's Meat Packing Plant in Clovis as well as at his parents jewelry store, Del Webb Jewelers, in Portales.  In 1998, Dennis began driving a truck, and retired in 2010.  He was an avid bowler, and loved riding his red Yamaha motor cycle with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly of their home; two sons, Derry Webb of Socorro, NM and Danny Webb of Clovis; a step-son, R. C. Allen and his companion, Amy Melendez of Muleshoe, TX; a step-daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Shawn Curtis of Oklahoma City, OK; and five grandchildren, Brittani and Devan Webb of Lemitar, NM, Traven Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK and Marilyn and Miranda Melendez of Lubbock, TX.  Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Beverlie Blossom and a grandson, Isaiah Johnson.
