Francis Christine Garcia

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francis Christine Garcia, 45, of Portales.  She passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2021.  Francis was born April 24, 1976 to the late Estella Christine Garcia.  A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wed., Aug. 4, 2021 in the Portales Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Christobal Garcia, Grandmother, Nellie Horn, and her mother, Estella Garcia who died on June 7, 2021.  Francis is survived by her aunt, Terasita Tanaka of Dillingham, AK and her uncles, Paul and Sam Garcia both of Portales, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

She will be remembered for her kindness and love, her enjoyment of photography and dancing, and her love of the outdoors, going fishing and hunting.  Francis enjoyed face timing with her friends and cousins, and her favorite color was purple.  Francis was devoted to her little dogs.
