Jamie was born in Lubbock, Texas on November 19, 1964 to Darell and Betty Hipp, and passed from this life on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023 at his home in Portales. Jamie Hipp was a loving father, cherished Pepaw, irreplaceable Unkie and a loyal friend. He was a strong and warm-hearted person who made a lasting impact on the people he knew.
A man's man through and through, Jamie's love for his family and his work was undeniable. He took pride in his work and even greater pride in his family, providing a source of inspiration for those fortunate enough to know him. We will always remember him through the memories he left behind. He was married to his wife, Renae on June 17, 2000 in the Rose Garden in Clovis.
Jamie found peace in nature, where he pursued his love for hunting, fishing and camping. He was skilled at crafting and building, leaving behind lasting creations.
