Jerimy Warren Funk

The family plans to have a Celebration of the life of Jerimy Warren Funk at a later time.

Jerimy Warren Funk was born Aug. 16, 1983 in Albuquerque, to the home of Mary Elizabeth (Flannigan) and Warren "Dennis" Funk, and died on the evening of Sept. 24, 2021 in Clovis, NM.  He and his dad moved to Portales in the mid 1990's, and Jerimy had lived in Portales and Clovis since that time.  He had worked in construction during his adult life as a "Jack of all Trades."  Through the years, he worked at Chaparral Electric, Nixon Enterprises and Haley Residential.  For several years he was a member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.  At the present time he was studying to become a Free Mason.  Jerimy loved to make people laugh, and he really enjoyed grilling.

He is survived by his companion of several years, Ambrosia Kincade of Clovis; his father, Dennis Funk of Portales; his daughter, Mariah Michelle Craig of Clovis; a step-daughter, Kaylie Kincade of Ft. Worth, TX; a step-son, Micheal Kincade of Clovis; two aunts and uncles, Bonnie and Rodney Smith and Linda and Jess Laman of Portales; and his cousins, Christina (Joe) Maestas, Nicole Sanchez and Chris Funk Smith all of Portales and James (Patricia) Carnes of Artesia, NM.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Flannigan and his grandparents, Janie and Warren Funk.
