Julian Lopez Carrasco, Jr.

No formal services were held for Julian Carrasco, Jr., 52, currently of Odessa, TX.  Mr. Carrasco was born July 17, 1967, in North Platte, NE to the home of Isabel Dominga (Lopez) and Julian Ramirez Carrasco, and died Feb. 20, 2020 in Portales, NM.  He enjoyed music, and was a very accomplished drummer.  He had many admirers, and even taught music.  Julian was a very patient father, and loved to spend time with his children.  Traveling and being with his family were the joys of his life.  He was always his "Mama's boy," and she never saw anything wrong in whatever he did.  Other than his music, he earned a living driving trucks.

He is survived by three sons, Julian Carrasco III, Abel Carrasco and Stephen Lopez Carrasco; four daughters, Maria Segura, Amanda Rodriguez, Jacqueline Carrasco and Stephanie Lopez Carrasco; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Steven Carrasco, Jason Carrasco, and Johnny Carrasco; four sisters, Martina Lopez, Delfina Carrasco, Sandy Torres and Christina Carrasco.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Amelia Carrasco.
