Keith Southern

Keith Southern was born May 19, 1955 in Portales, to the home of Louise Elizabeth (Carter) and Charles Allen Southern, and died Dec. 20, 2021 in Las Cruces, NM.  Keith drove trucks his whole adult life.  Much of his career was spent hauling milk, and doing long haul trucking.

He is survived by his life partner, Carolyn Kindle of Portales; a son, Ricky Dale Southern of Santa Rosa, CA; a daughter, Angela Harvey of Clovis; eight grandchildren, Ricky (Cassidy) William Wooley, Russell Horton, Sean Dione, Keith Southern, Ashley Flowers, Katlynn Southern, Kaylee Snow and Ricky Southern; nine great-grandchildren; his mother, Louise Southern of Elida; four brothers, Steve of Marino Valley, CA, Rick of New Braunfels, TX, Adia of Portales and Louis of Elida; and two sisters, Ecky Serrato of Marino Valley, CA and Robin Southern of Mayfork, CA.  He was preceded in death by his father.
