Linda Sue Buzard was born April 3, 1951 in Ruidoso, NM to the home of Georgia (Adams) and Roy Vandaley Bilberry and died early on the morning of Nov. 7, 2021 in Farwell, TX.  Linda's family moved to Portales when she was a young girl, and it was there that she met Jack Buzard.  They were married on Aug. 17, 1968 in Lubbock, TX.  They made their home in Lubbock for a few years.  While living in Lubbock, she worked at the First National Bank of Lubbock.  They later moved to Tucumcari, and then to Floyd in 1976.  Linda made her home in Floyd until 2016, when she moved to Farwell to be close to her daughter and sister.

While living in Floyd, Linda was a faithful member of the Floyd Baptist Church.  Since living in Farwell she was a member of the Farwell Baptist Church.  In the mid 1980's, Linda joined her sister and brother-in-law in the operation of Amanda's Floral in Clovis.  She had been retired for the past several years.  Linda didn't just read her Bible, she studied it.  In fact, she studied it until it was falling apart.  In addition to floral arranging, Linda enjoyed sewing and cooking and baking.  She loved taking care of her grandchildren.  Every evening she enjoyed a walk.  For many years Linda sponsored children through World Vision, and until very recently she delivered Meals On Wheels in Farwell.

The family is deeply appreciative of the care provided for Mrs. Buzard by Dr. Joel Sievers and Dr. Aloha Hand, Reavis Bell, FNP and Interim Hospice of Levelland.

Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Greg Ray of Farwell, TX; her two grandchildren, Dustin and Jacklynn Ray; her sister, Mary Knowles of Farwell, TX; her nieces, Amanda (M A) Kemp of Clovis, NM and Belinda (David) Schlehuber of Levelland, TX; her nephews, Kendell (Shelly) Buzard of Floyd and Sam (Cathy) Buzard of Portales; her great-nieces and nephews, Catherine (Tyler) Krueger, Zachary Ashford, Noah Ashford, Conan Ashford, Roy (Melinda) Dia Bueno, Casey (Andrew) Cherry and Jake (Jessica) Buzard; as well as numerous other cousins and family members.  She was preceded in death by both of her parents, several half brothers and sisters, including Martha Dia Bueno, her brother-in-law, Robert Knowles and by her husband, Jack Buzard who died Dec. 10, 2006.
