Manuel Miguel Reveles-Alardin

The Rosary for Manuel Reveles Alardin, 69, of Portales will be recited at 9:00 AM, Fri., April 10, 2026, at St. Helen Catholic Church.  Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 AM with Fr. Francisco Carbajal officiating.  Burial will be in the Portales Cemetery with Manuel Reveles, Pablo Reveles, Raul Gonzalez, Mariana Gonzalez, Joshua Martinez and Brissya Martinez serving as pallbearers..

Manuel Miguel Reveles Alardin was born Sept. 29, 1956, in Delicias, Mexico to the home of Antonia (Alardin) and Pablo Reveles and passed from this life on April 2, 2026, in Lubbock, TX.  For several years Mr. Reveles came back and forth between Mexico and the United States to work in the fields.  In 1976, he moved permanently to the US and made his home in southern California.  On June 3, 2002, in Delicias, Mexico, he was married to Veronica Gonzalez.  Following their marriage, they moved to Portales, and in 2004 Mr. Reveles began working at Dairy Farmers of America where he was a palletizer.  He proudly worked there until his health prevented him from continuing in 2024.

Mr. Reveles enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and always made sure they had the things they needed and also most of the things they wanted.  He had a talent for choosing the very sweetest melons and the best fruit at the market.  He enjoyed watching soccer matches, old westerns and game shows on television.

He is survived by Veronica, his wife of almost 24 years of their home; his sons, Miguel Reveles, Carlos Reveles and Manuel Landin of Delano, CA, Raul Gonzlalez of Portales, Manuel and Naomi Reveles of Fort Hodd, TX and Pablo Reveles of Portales; his daughters, Antonia Reveles of Delano, CA and Mariana Gonzalez of Portales; 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; his brothers, Cesar Reveles of Winchester, VA, Carlos Reveles of Norwalk, CA, Javier Reveles of Downy, CA, Sergio Reveles of Whittier, CA, Pablo Reveles of Victorville, CA and Jesus Reveles of Norwalk, CA; and his sisters, Griselda Reveles of Norwalk, CA, Esther Reveles of Phoenix, AZ, Antonia Reveles of Strasburg, VA and Julia Reveles of Norwalk, CA.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Arturo Reveles and a sister, Consuelo Reveles.
