Funeral services for Maude Ann Eubank, 82, of Denver, CO will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Dora Church of Christ with her daughters and sons-in-law officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with Brien Hodges, Eddy Burkett, Zak Straub, Greg Richards, Micky Burkett, and Terry Smith serving as pallbearers. There will also be a memorial
service held at the Northwest Church of Christ, at 2:00 PM, Sun., Feb. 4, 2024. Memorials and donations can be made in her honor to the Northwest Church of Christ, 5255 W. 98 th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020.
Maude Ann Eubank was born Jan. 8, 1941, in Portales, NM to the home of Averil (Richards) and James Burkett and passed from this life on the evening of Dec. 16, 2023 in Denver, CO. Ann, as
she was known, along with her parents and younger brother Richard and sister Charlotte, lived on a dairy farm with Mr. Burkett’s parents, A.J. and Anna Burkett. The family milked the cows
twice daily, and Ann and her siblings attended the Dora schools. She graduated in 1959. Following her graduation, she attended Lubbock Christian College for two years. On September 3, 1966, she was married to Edwin Lee Eubank. The couple had two daughters.
Ann worked for Qwest for twenty-two years. She began in The Phone Store. Later she served as a directory assistance operator. Her final job was to make sure that the data for 911 operators
was correct. Ann retired in 2002. Following her retirement, she and her husband enjoyed spending time with their daughters and grandchildren, as well as other family members and friends. She had been a dedicated member of the Northwest Church of Christ in Broomfield, Colorado for more than 50 years.
Mrs. Eubank is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Andrews Shober of Castle Pines, CO and Lesley and Brien Hodges of Englewood, CO; two granddaughters, Stacia Straub and husband, Zak and Riley Hodges; her sister, Ruby Charlotte Smith of Nashville, TN and her brother, Richard Burkett of Post, TX; as well as various other family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, A. J. and Anna Burkett, Lee and Maude Richards, her parents, James and Averil Burkett, and by her husband, Edwin, who died April 12, 2014.
