Mona Sue (Foster) Laquey

Mona Sue Laquey was born December 28, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to the home of Mary Elizabeth (Bifus) and Elmer Rae Foster and died October 19, 2025 in Portales, NM at the age of 81 years.

Most of her early life was in Albuquerque.  As an older child, her family was living in Kansas City, MO where she graduated from high school in 1961.  After high school, she moved back to Albuquerque, and at some point move to Farmington, NM.  While living there, she worked at a local GM dealership.  On September 6, 2003, she was married to Lonnie Laquey.  Due to her health conditions, she and her husband had recently relocated to Portales.  Mrs. Laquey loved horses, and for many years raised them for pleasure riding.

She is survived by Lonnie, her husband of 22 years of their home.
