Pantaleon Gallegos

A graveside service for Pantaleon Gallegos, 80, of Floyd, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Floyd Cemetery. There will be viewing for Mr. Gallegos at his home, 1555 New Mexico 267. Pallbearers will be Carlos Borrego, Jr., Adrian Borrego, Juan Gallegos, Jr., Victor Gurrola, Alonso Beltran and Daniel Beltran.

Pantaleon Gallegos was born August 1, 1940 in Ejido Noe, Durango, Mexico to the home of Maria De Jesus (Rodriguez) and Isabel Gallegos, and died Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in Clovis. 

Pantaleon married Aurora Sarinana in 1960, she preceded him in death on November 5, 2015.  He worked as a farm hand for Butch Vidlar for more than 45 years.  He loved to be on the tractor.  He really enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and loved to spend time with his family.

Mr. Gallegos is survived by his sons, Juan Gallegos and wife Santhgaga of Floyd, Francisco Gallegos and wife Margarita of Mexico and Tomas Gallegos of Floyd; his daughters, Isabel Gorrola and husband Catarino of Mexico, Emilia Rodriguez and husband Angel of Mexico, Julia Borrego and husband Carlos of Portales and Cecilia Moran and husband Jorge of Floyd; 33 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren, and four nieces and nephews.

Pantaleon was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and his sister.
