Ricky P Jameson

Ricky Jameson, age 63, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2025. Ricky was a hard-working man who spent his life dedicated to his family, his career, and doing the things he loved.

During his high school years, Ricky was actively involved in FFA (Future Farmers of America), where he developed a strong work ethic and a passion for working with his hands. After high school, he began his career as a meat cutter at Poor Boy's Butcher Shop. Ricky later continued his work at Furr's Grocery Store, perfecting his craft as a meat cutter. Eventually, he accepted a position as the Head Meat Cutter at the CAFB Commissary, where he spent many dedicated years serving his community.

Outside of work, Ricky had a deep love for hunting and spending time outdoors. He also had a great appreciation for art and enjoyed expressing his creativity in various ways. Whether he was outdoors or creating something unique, Ricky always found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life.

Ricky is survived by his loving mother, LaDean Jameson, his brother, Scott Jameson and his wife, Dianna Jameson, and his sister, Jana Jameson-Fields and her husband, Robert Fields. Ricky was also deeply loved by his nieces and nephews: Jimmy Jameson, Kallie Little, Brandon Fields, and Tayler Fields. His love extended to his great-nieces and great-nephews, including: Emma, Madi, Taytum, June, Scotty, Marlo, and Hogan, all of whom brought so much joy into his life.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Orvel Jameson.

In honoring Ricky’s wishes, he will be cremated, and no formal funeral service will be held. However, there will be a celebration of life service at a later date, where friends and family can gather to share stories, memories, and celebrate the life of a remarkable man. Details of the celebration will be announced at a later time.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Ricky’s legacy of hard work, love for the outdoors, artistic spirit, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
