Samantha Dawn lucero

Funeral services for Samantha Lucero, 28, currently of Dallas, TX will be at 10:00 AM, Mon., June 23, 2025 in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel.  Burial will be in the Portales Cemetery with Sedric Lucero, Sincere Zamora, Gilbert Enriquez, LaReyna Sigala, Angelica Villanueva, Lonnie Haney and Jeff Zermeno serving as pallbearers.

Samantha Dawn Lucero was born Aug. 10, 1996 in Portales to Regina "Gina" Zamora and Isacc Lucero and died at her home in Dallas, TX on June 17, 2025.  Samantha lived her early life between Portales and Clovis, and graduated from Clovis High School in 2014.  She moved to Dallas in 2020, and began working as a Scheduling Specialist for a Dental Clinic.  Samantha was a very outgoing and social person.  She loved going to the beach and swimming.  She was very family oriented, and never missed a family event whether it was a birthday or her little sister's 8th grade graduation.  She treasured her time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Gina Zamora of Clovis; her father, Isacc Lucero of Las Cruces; her Nana, Suzanne Zamora of Portales and her paternal grandmother, Debbie Lucero of Las Cruces; two brothers, Sedric Lucero of Clovis and Daniel Sanchez of Portales; and a sister, Sincere Zamora-Urquizo of Clovis.
