Sandra Purle Estraca

Sandra Purle Estraca died unexpectedly on Saturday, February, 20, 2021, at the age of 15. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church in Portales with Pastor Rosendo Lopez officiating.  Burial will follow in the Portales Cemetery with Jesse Montiel, Jr., Jesse Montiel, III, Joe Gutierrez, Santos Gutierrez, Jose Salas, Jr. and Mario Guardado serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Montiel, Sr. and Eddie Estraca, Jr.

Sandra Estraca was born on October 7, 2005, in Clovis to the home of Jessica (Montiel) and Eddie Estraca.  Sandra was in the 9th grade at Muleshoe High School.  She played softball and flag football for the Muleshoe City League.  Sandra loved the Dallas Cowboys; she always wore a Cowboys jersey when she watched them play.  She was a loving caring young lady with a heart of gold. She was shy, but once she got to know you she was very talkative and outspoken.  She loved to make everyone laugh, always outgoing.

Sandra loved her cats, Chubs & Blacky. She also loved making TikToks with her cousin Jodie.  Sandra also enjoyed being in the spelling bee and was always in the top 10 every year she was in it.  She attended Primera Iglesia Bautista where she would sing.  She loved to bake birthday cakes to give to people she loved, Her "Dudes".

Sandra Purle Estraca will be dearly missed by every single one of her family members.  She always had a smile on her face and brought happiness upon everyone she ever met.

Sandra is survived by her parents, Jessica Estraca and Eddie Estraca; her brother, Eddie Jr. Estraca; cousins, Jose Salas, Jesse Jr. Montiel, III, Daizy Montiel, Melony Montiel, Xavier Montiel, Joe Gutierrez, Santos Gutierrez and Jodielynn Gutierrez; her grandparents, Jesse Montiel Sr. & Ramona Montiel; her aunts and uncles, Margie Salas, Jennifer Montiel, Brenda Montiel and Jesse Jr. Montiel.
