Shaina Denee Pool

Private memorial services for Shaina Pool, 34, of Farwell, TX will be held for FAMILY MEMBERS ONLY with Rev. Wesley McAfee officiating.  All of her loving family are serving as honorary pallbearers.

Shaina Denee Pool was born Jan 16, 1990 in Clovis to Manuelita “Munci” (Trujillo) and Don Pool.  She passed from this life on the morning of Aug. 7, 2024 at her home in Farwell, TX.  Shaina grew up in Portales and was a 2008 graduate of Clovis Chirstian School.  She was a member of the Highland Baptist Church in Clovis.

Shaina was always an upbeat girl with a big smile, and loved to laugh and talk and be the life of the party.  Shaina’s big and generous heart caused her to think that she wanted to be a nurse.  She started her nurse’s training, but when she had to work in the nursing home, she quickly changed her mind.  So, after that she worked at Beall’s and later at New Mexico Bank and Trust.  It was in 2012 that she was injured in a boating accident.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Munci and Ted Roberts of Farwell, TX and her father and step-mother, Don and Ronda Pool of Granbury, TX; four sisters, Sandra (Justin) Donaldson of Brock, TX, Sidnee (Evan) Berberich also of Brock, TX, Ta'Niel (Cedar) Rush of Melrose, NM and Ryann (Austin) Goodnight of Decatur, TX; three brothers, Tristen Pool and Treven Pool of Granbury, TX and Trey (Shay) Roberts of Clovis, NM; her grandparents, Amelia and Pete Trujillo and LaVern and Jim Russell all of Portales; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Betty and Leland Pool.
